Tourism award finalists Hunter/Central Coast

HUNTER Valley wineries, inner-city ghost tours, Port Stephens whale watching cruises and a landmark contemporary art project are just some of the finalists in the Hunter/Central Coast Awards for Excellence in Tourism.

QantasLink announced more than 50 individual operators would be vying for awards across 25 categories during a ceremony and gala dinner at Wests Lambton in August.

“It’s great to see so many businesses vying for top honours and we are particularly delighted to see a number of businesses entering for the first time” Central Coast Tourism CEO Robyne Abernethy said.

The awards are considered the premier event for the tourism industry in the Hunter and Central Coast and attract a number of business leaders from across the country.
